Dr T. David Gbadebo

CARDIOLOGIST/ELECTROPHYSIOLOGIST

Dr. David Gbadebo received BS and MS degrees from VCU (Virginia Commonwealth University, Richmond, VA) prior to earning his MD degree from Emory University School of Medicine. He completed internship and residency training at University Hospitals Case Medical Center, Cleveland, Ohio. Thereafter, he was fellowship-trained in Cardiovascular Diseases at Duke University Medical Center, and subsequently completed a fellowship training in EP (Cardiac Electrophysiology) at Vanderbilt University Medical Center. He has been board-certified in Internal Medicine, Cardiovascular Diseases, and in Clinical Cardiac Electrophysiology.

He is an accomplished cardiologist and electrophysiologist with international reputation, and with about two decades of clinical practice experience. He has published in numerous journals including Circulation, American Heart Journal, and Journal of Cardiovascular Electrophysiology. He is considered a key opinion leader (KOL) in his specialty area. He has given presentations, received awards, and served as Chair at annual scientific sessions of the Association of Black cardiologists (ABC), American College of Cardiology (ACC) and Heart Rhythm Society ( HRS). Dr. Gbadebo was formerly Secretary of ABC (Association of Black Cardiologists, Inc), Chair of the Fellows Committee, and of the Electrophysiology Committee for the ABC. He remains active in scientific research, serves as an associate editor and reviewer for some medical journals, and is an advisor and consultant to some pharmaceutical and medical device companies.
